Turn a loved one (or yourself!) into a work of art! Work with me to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom canvas portrait…
YOU PROVIDE:
1. A Photograph – Keep your canvas size in mind when deciding on face or full body portraits, or if you’re planning to include more than one person in the photo.
*Only the face and/or body will be used – No need to edit the background, as it will be cut out
*Please send the photograph in the highest resolution possible to prevent blurring if printed on a larger scale
*Photo should be edited as desired prior to submitting
(red eye issues and/or other imperfections), but I can help apply a filter to complement the portraits design/color scheme (sepia, black and white, brightened tones, etc.)
2. Ideas and/or color schemes desired (please include what information you can in your notes to seller at checkout, and I will contact you shortly after for more specifics.)
*I can hand letter quotes, words, or names as part of your design
*Please note that there are some color shade discrepancies from computer to computer…If you are hoping to match your canvas portrait to a specific shade, I will do my best but some color variation is possible.
*If you have an idea in mind that is not shown above, it is best to contact me before purchasing to make sure I have supplies available and/or it is something I can create.
There are three basic canvas sizes to choose from ($70-$90), but you can request a custom size not listed. Please note the pricing may vary, and canvases over a certain size cannot be shipped and must be picked up locally.
These are mixed media portraits, and some designs do contain three-dimensional details and embellishments that can be pulled off if not handled gently…please be aware of design choices if you are having it made for a young child’s room.
The base paint coats are done in acrylics.
I will send photographs of the final piece before shipping.
Production/shipping time is estimated at 2-3 weeks, but may be longer or shorter than stated depending on the promptness of our communication… I cannot begin work on your piece until I receive your photograph and basic color/design ideas, and may have to pause work on your canvas at any time if I do not receive feedback when needed.
If you are ordering this for a specific date/event, please take this into account and provide plenty of extra time.
